An exciting year 2024 lies behind us, and a year 2025 that will certainly be no less exciting lies ahead. We, or rather CIMAC, have achieved a great deal in 2024; just think of the numerous papers that CIMAC groups have published in 2024 or of our successful application at the IMO.

We have also planned a lot for 2025. One focus will be on events, and it goes without saying that the CIMAC CONGRESS will stand out here. We will meet in Zurich as early as May, and a lot has to be done by then. We also want to be present at the London International Shipping Week and at Marintec, to name just a few of the activities planned. I am looking forward to 2025 and its challenges!

CIMAC CONGRESS: Early bird registration

From May 19 to 23, 2025, Zurich will become the global center for the large engines, drives and propulsion industry. Registration is open and offers an early bird discount until the end of January 2025.

CIMAC WG meeting week

Working and Strategy Groups are the driving force behind CIMAC. Now, mid December 2024, as part of the so-called Meeting Week, their members, international specialists from companies around the globe, came together in Frankfurt/Germany.

Maritime Safety Committee meeting at IMO

In early December, the Maritime Safety Committee met at the International Maritime Organization headquarters in London for its 109th session. CIMAC representatives took part.
