CIMAC Newsletter April 2024 | Big events cast their shadows ahead: the Call for Papers for the upcoming CIMAC Congress is out! We are already looking forward to numerous proposals. For the 2023 congress, we received almost 800 abstracts. We are hoping for a similar level of participation at next year's congress.
Hope is also a perfect keyword for another topic. As you might already know, CIMAC has recently applied to the IMO. It would be great if we could get involved there in the future.
The B&C meeting in China also gives me a sense of hope. I am looking forward to meeting at least some of you there in person.
Yours sincerely
Daniel Erdmann Deputy Secretary General
