The world of shipping is constantly changing. The current challenges around climate change and the need to quickly and drastically lower emissions in shipping are further accelerating this change. Among engine users, there is growing interest in exchanging views on how to manage the transition. Vice versa, the CIMAC working groups are very interested in a better connection with the user group so that they, in turn, can better understand and accompany the challenges.
So, in order to network the industry, what could be more logical than to revive the work of the CIMAC WG 10 Users? This topic was discussed in the Council meeting, and one of the key outcomes was to get the other WG Chairs on board right from the beginning. The task will be taken up by Elias Boletis, the designated Chair of WG 10. CIMAC Secretariat will support the restart administratively. We will keep you posted.
