The University of Rostock and the CIMAC NMA Germany (AG Großmotoren) hosted the 14th CIMAC CASCADES on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024. CIMAC CASCADES is the platform to give young talents the opportunity to exchange ideas and create networks with leading players in the industry. The event took place one day before the 8th Rostock Large Engine Conference to craft an even more attractive package for participants.
Prof. Dr. Bert Buchholz opened the event and provided the context for the following keynnote from Dirk Bergmann (CTO Accelleron) and the six presentations from companies and universities. The diverse presentations gave the students the opportunity to gain an insight into the topics that will be of interest to the large engine industry in the coming years. Snacks, a lunch break and a lab tour provided a pleasent environment to establish new contacts and ask questions.
Overall, the event was a great success and provided a platform for both students and companies to network.
